Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of The Good Night Foundation includes co-founders Mike Freed and Jack Theimer as well as Bruce Lindsey, CEO of the William J. Clinton Foundation and its auxiliary Clinton Global Initiative, Maureen Raynaud, Executive Director of The Good Night Foundation, Brooke Ueberroth, Vice President of Communications of Preferred Hotel Group and Peter Heinemann, co-founder of Passport Resorts.

Bruce Lindsey

Bruce R. Lindsey currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the William J. Clinton Foundation and splits his time between the Foundation's New York and Little Rock offices. He has been a long-time advisor to former President Bill Clinton. During the eight years of the Clinton Administration, he served as an Assistant to the President, Deputy White House Counsel, and Senior Advisor. During 1993, Mr. Lindsey was also Director of the Office of Presidential Personnel where he supervised the selection and approval of political appointees in the Cabinet departments and to Presidential boards and commissions. In the White House Counsel's Office, Mr. Lindsey handled judicial selection issues, clemency requests, and investigative matters. During the 1992 Presidential campaign, he served as the National Campaign Director. In his various positions, Mr. Lindsey has been described as the Administrations "master strategist" on a variety of high profile issues, including tobacco settlement negotiations, product liability reform, security law reform, international aviation issues and labor law issues.

Jack Theimer

Jack Theimer is president of The Theimer Group and chief executive officer of HPJ Media Ventures. For nearly thirty years, Mr. Theimer has delivered unique and successful realty properties in some of the finest locations nationwide. Mr. Theimer's ability to envision, acquire, develop and market has served him well in real estate, venture projects and community service throughout his career. Since 1974, Mr. Theimer has acquired and developed some of the most unique realty properties in the United in areas such as Montecito, California, Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado and Charleston, South Carolina. In his role as CEO of HPJ Media, Mr. Theimer has grown the media company to include magazine properties in Aspen, Vail and Summit County, Colorado, Sun Valley, Idaho, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Park City, Utah, and investments in on-line products such as JackRabbit Systems and QuickPlay Media. Mr. Theimer's community involvement includes serving as co-chairman of the California State Preservation Conference, director of the Santa Barbara Community Environmental Council, trustee Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, member of Bren School's Eco-Entrepreneurship Advisory Council and presidential appointee to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Commission.

Michael Freed

Michael Freed is co-founder and Managing Partner of Passport Resorts LLC, based in San Francisco. The innovative hospitality company's awarding-winning properties include Post Ranch Inn; Hotel Häna-Maui; Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort; and Cavallo Point - the Lodge at the Golden Gate, opening in 2008. Since its inception in 1997, the company and its resorts have been committed to and recognized for environmental and social stewardship that seamlessly integrate into and augment a first-class guest experience. The visionary behind Post Ranch Inn, Mr. Freed was responsible for overseeing the project from construction to completion. He also managed the acquisition and renovation of the Fiji property. Currently Mr. Freed oversees marketing for Passport Resorts and operations at Post Ranch and Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort. These resorts were recently named #3 and #1 respectively in TripAdvisor's Top Ten Environmentally-Friendly Accommodations. In 2005, the Fiji property was honored as "#1 Resort" on Condé Nast Traveler's "Green List," recognizing outstanding ecotourism. Mr. Freed serves on the Board of Directors of Savusavu Community Foundation. Focusing on health, culture and the environment, the foundation provides free assistance to the local Fijian community.

Post Ranch Inn and Hotel Hana-Maui are part of SLH, which voted Post Ranch 2004 Hotel of the Year.

Brooke Ueberroth

As Vice President, Communications, Brooke Ueberroth draws on her lifelong experience as an extensive traveler and occasional ex-pat to lead Preferred Hotel Group's communications division. She oversees the creative development of annual directories for PHG's five brands and serves as publisher of Preferred Lifestyles and Summit magazines, determining the creative approach, content and story angles, as well as overseeing the editorial staff.

Brooke's responsibilities also include seeking out new partners for the company's philanthropic program, GIFTTS - Great Initiatives for Today's (Tomorrow's) Society. She creates tools and resources for member hotels participating in this program, which encourages and rewards socially responsible actions by PHG hotels and employees. Previously, Brooke held positions at Meredith Publishing and Kimpton Hotels.

Maureen Raynaud, Executive Director

Former Managing Director, and Founder of Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa, Maureen Raynaud encompassed the spirit of the resort. Instrumental in the concept, design, and development, she oversaw strategic, operational and creative direction for the property as well as its family of employees.

Prior to the creation of Dolphin Bay, Raynaud founded her own company, Monarch Hotel Partners, a consultancy that helps hoteliers navigate complex building and operational avenues. Like its namesake butterfly that winters along California's Central Coast, Monarch's growth was swift, moving clients through each stage of construction and departmental operations with ease. Raynaud, her partner and husband Paul, and Monarch continue to remain a valuable resource for hoteliers along California's Central Coast.

Raynaud was awarded the California Hotel & Lodging Association's 2008 Star of the Industry award as Outstanding Manager of the Year for a small property, and the San Luis Obispo Tribune named Raynaud one of the area's Top 20 Under 40 business people for her philanthropic work in the community in 2007.

Additionally, Raynaud is a member of the California Travel Industry Association, Hotel Marketing and Sales Association International, The American and California Hotel & Lodging Associations, Women in Tourism International Alliance, and the National Association of Professional Women. She matches her professional passion with an unflagging dedication to numerous civic and charitable organizations, both locally and nationally. Ms. Raynaud has been serving as the Executive Director of The Good Night Foundation since April of 2010.

Raynaud lives in Carmel Valley, with her husband Paul and her two children.
